the opening night was packed!
here is one quote I got for the evening on the collaborative photo wall installation by David and myself. a 6ft by 6ft work , "Glances of Paris and the Gardens of Versailles"
"The show WOWed me. (Especially the piece sporting the"Alice" figure stuck in a Max Ernst collage.) It seems no naturescape or urban touristscape is safe from your frolicsome and probing lenses: Thank God!"

The inaugural show was fantastic. 300 international artists (juried in from 25,000 entries) . I usually, as most artists, attend my opening events, but I was unable to fly to NYC, in person, but the event was streamed live! The show will ran from February 19 to March 21, 2009 with an opening reception Thursday, February 19, 6-9pm. Also a great time for other big NYC shows.
4 of my LightRide Series works were included in the exhibition, some can be viewed here on the site. The gallery is really... [more]

On "Native Vibes" video by Nancy Bechtol
Keeping pace with tribal rhythms from the drum circle, images of dancers and the swirling colors of their mind-bending regalia are sliced, diced, and reassembled in eye-opening ways. These fragments are shuffle played in structural designs which suggest both the beating of the heart and similar movements occurring in Nature.
