Originally from Norway via Spain, Ian Peter Hosfeld studied painting both as an apprentice in Venezuela and at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. After pursuing a career in the video game industry and publishing comics, Hosfeld has returned to fine arts painting, bringing along a pop culture vocabulary to be explored in the context of narrative abstraction. He is currently represented by Robert Fontain Gallery in Wynwood, Miami.
