Jenna Meyers is an American painter working in figurative abstraction and queer portraiture. Their work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions including at Parisian Laundry, Galerie B-312, Galerie Lilian Rodriguez, Joyce Yahouda Gallery, and the Rats 9 Collective. In 2012 they were an artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Centre, completing a small research project called ’strange hair'. Jenna is the recipient of several grants and awards including the Vermont Studio Residency Award, Joyce Melville Memorial Scholarship, Helene Couture Award for Excellence in Painting, and the Concordia Faculty of Fine Arts Fellowship. They live and work in Montreal.
