Luka Fisher is a Los Angeles based artist known for his frequent collaborations, use of mix media, and his designs for underground bands.
Luka began drawing and painting while studying Russian literature in St. Petersburg and Kazan and considers himself an "American-Russian" artist. At the heart of his work is the clash between intuition and process. The selection of media and and materials is heavily controlled while the subject matter and style of his works rely on intuition and accident.
He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, photographers and musicians including Dash Hobbeheydar, Tate Hemlock, Kizzy Kirk, Brenda Carsey, Andrew DisOrder and others.
His work has been shown in Los Angeles, Detroit, Phoenix, and is held in private collections in the United States and Russia.
