Artist Statement
The language of my paintings is infused with nostalgia for bruised and neon colors. Oil paint reacts to every movement of my hand, fixing emotion and thought in color. The work arises from my incessant inquiry into the relationship between the experience of color and the materiality of paint, and it is in the body of color where I start my search.
