In 1999 I graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Double Bachelor degree: Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts)/Bachelor of Teaching. My 13 years of teaching has really pushed me in my career as an artist. To ensure that my artistic merits are worthy of my student's attention, my teaching methods have always been grounded in regular art practice, experimentation and knowledge of art theory/professional practice. The two career paths, simultaneously traveled have allowed me to truly take ownership of my own creative journey on a holistic level- practice what you preach- be true to your passion and engage in regular experimentation with art media, method and style.
