My name is Mitchel Lee Henry, 38 years old, and mainly a hairdresser at Sportclips Haircutting.  I love my job, but on the side I do something that I love so much more,  Freelance photography and graphic art and design.  I started about 2002 when a friend wanted me to use my skills to help his models look more glamorous.  I started by just doing their hair and makeup for photoshoots, then I started choosing their outfits and helped pose them.  One day about 2004 while hanging out at a music studio, the owner happen to see my little bit of drawing work and thought that digital work my be something that I would be interested in.  He handed me Photoshop for the very first time and told me he wanted me to learn it.  Of course that didn't work out with him, but I got to keep the program, and through the year, I spent many hours studying tutorials online to learn how to use this program.  It has been 6 years since I first started learning how to use that program.  In the year 2010 I had my very first gallery and it started something and since then have been asked by the state to do pics for their federal offices, as well as doing photography for lots of local businesses.  I never thought that something I thought I would never learn turned into something I love to do more than anything.  I sure hope that you enjoy looking at my work, just as much as I loved making them.
