Education/Artist Training

Andy was thrown out of five high schools and never graduated.  He is completely self-taught.

In lieu of academic training he has spent over fifty years in the imaging world working as a cinematographer, specialist camera operator, director, still photographer, inventor, business owner and corporate executive.  He has been called “a master photographer by Gizmondo;

Artist Residency

Seeing the PDC - Seeing the PDC is a yearlong study of the Pacific Design Center granted through designLAb.  Andy spent most of a year photographing the buildings, the spaces inside and the people and events.  The project was seen as a continuous work in progress show and culminated in a major show of the work near years end.
