Gary Whitley

Artist:  Gary Whitley.

Philosophy:  We see things in the world around us all the time. As an artist I can see things that others may not notice. I try to photograph these so others will take notice of their beauty that is around us. I hope that this will open up our eyes to the things that are around us and dream about the things to come and see.

Style: Landscapes and Scenery.

Technique & Style:  I use a Digital Nikon D90 camera with various lens, (18-105 mm (f/3.5-5.6), 70-300 mm (f/4.5-5.6), or my 50 mm (f/1.8)).  Software used is Light Room 4 and Photoshop CS5.

Background:  I am new to the art of Photography. I started taking photography classes at the local community college in 2010. I am an artist by nature and photography seemed to be an extension of that.  Most of my work is of Nature/Landscapes.  I enjoy the way the scenery is ever changing.
