Bio / Mission / Partial CV

My name is Toby Goodshank. I am a visual artist and musician based out of Brooklyn, New York. I recently visited Berlin, Germany, where I have began my first series of solo paintings following an exhibition in NYC with my collective 3MB (featuring Adam Green and Macaulay Culkin).

Through using a blend of styles and symbols inspired by German Expressionist film and art, along with contemporary images that we are faced with on a daily basis and visuals from my own dreams and imagination, it was my intention that by creating this new series of paintings I can better explore and understand the process of my assimilation into a new, exciting, and sometimes paranoiac life abroad.
