Artist Statement
From as far back as I can remember I have always been excited about capturing the beauty I see around me. It later became clear this excitement stemmed from a desire to connect, to engage and to inspire. Creating inspirational impact through visual stimulation becomes the basis of my photography work. And richer living through richer seeing, my vision.
New Eye Movement
When we switch our vision from ordinary to finding beauty in everything around us; this transformation is the New Eye Movement. And this ability to attain a richer way of living through a richer way of seeing; is a priceless treasure to pass on to our descendants.
I started creating series that express this New Eye message. Nature, landscape, cityscape, floral and close-ups are among my favorite subjects when creating my art. Some of my existing work includes the San Francisco series, the Floral Perspective series, and Awareness in Green Series. I also do commission photo portraiture work for families and individuals. I enjoy working with people to create portraits that capture the best of who they are.
