Javier Manrique is a multidisciplinary artist. His works span from fresco to digital imagery. He has shown in galleries and museums in different countries. In November of 2012 Manrique will be presenting Frescomania : Bay Area and Beyond, in an interactive artist residence at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. He had a solo show in the spring of 2012 at the Museo de Antropologia de Xalapa. His other exhibit in 2012 was at the SF MOMA Artist Gallery.
His one man shows have been at the Chopo Museum and Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City, Galeria Arroyo de la Plata in Zacatecas and Museo de Arte Contemporaneo in Aguascalientes Mexico.
He is a founding member of Grupo Arteria based in Mexico City which in 2002 represented Mexico at the International Print Fair Estampa in Madrid Spain.
