Artist & Photographer Swav Jusis works in the New York Metro Area in the fields of photography and Mixed Media Art.
He has been a Fine Art Photographer for over a decade both in the US and Europe with past work primarily focused on documentary photography related to events and people in the alternative NYC nightlife scene. This included the underground vampire, gothic, steampunk, industrial, cyber and fetish lifestyles.
Original works by Swav Jusis are found in the collections of art collectors worldwide, primarily consisting of pieces from previous exhibitions in New York 2000, 2005, 2012, UK 2003-2005 and Philadelphia 2012.
His new collection “Life Saturated”, released in 2012, is made up of 36 pieces which pushes the boundary of photography, combining it with color manipulation, to new and exciting limits allowing him to give a visual testimony in strikingly complex imagery. It explores the deeper side of color and contrast within individuals encountered upon the journey of his documentary photography based around the clubs and people related to the alternative nightlife scene.
He has also recently released his latest book "Gothic, Vampire and Alternative Female Beauty" in July 2012.
