Statement

Shota Ogawa is a Ph.D. candidate in Visual and Cultural Studies at University of Rochester. His dissertation explores the idea of commemorative films that inform the historicity of the Korean minority group in postwar Japan. He is also a founding member of the OnFilm Series in Rochester and an intern in the Motion Pictures Dept at George Eastman House.
