Fine Arts Round Table (FARt) is a graduate student-driven collective of visual artists, art historians, performing artists, musicians, filmmakers, and writers from The College of the Arts committed to facilitating exchange between CSULB graduate art programs and encouraging students to expand the boundaries of their disciplines. FARt's goals are:
- To create interdisciplinary events and projects serving CSULB students, faculty, staff, and the community at large.
- To promote opportunities for student association and interaction with the faculty and administration of CSULB and with the members of the community.
- To promote ethical leadership and academic achievement, and to cultivate civic responsibility.
FARt produces GLAMFA, an annual juried survey of artwork created in MFA programs in the greater Los Angeles area, hosts Open Studios in the fall and spring.
