Statement

Trained as a nuclear engineer, Daniel’s career had many twists and turns, from working at a nuclear power plant to technical and management consulting. Throughout is corporate career however, he continually had creative projects on the side and his technical background is often evident in his paintings. In early 2008, Daniel decided to leave Corporate America and today, Daniel is a professional emerging artist residing in Chicago (born and raised in Wisconsin). He strives to create a look and feel that is uniquely his own.  Daniel’s art has morphed quickly over the past few years from the Pop Art he first experimented with only a few years ago to abstract expessionism.  His recent work using tinted resin has a distinct modern and abstract feeling which is receiving a lot of attention.

“Due the flowing, organic nature of resin, I have to suspend my desires for specific results and simply allow the images to emerge and develop naturally.”
