Alex Prikazsky

Early on when i began working with clay porcelain caught my eye and i soon fell in love.  Though I haven’t settled too much on style, between loose, tight, functional, nonfunctional, I'm stuck on porcelain as a clay body.  It's consistency is smooth and buttery to the touch and it's striking in color.  In my work I focus on complementing the beauty of the porcelain with transparent celadons or leaving it unglazed.  My personal interests find their way into my work; naive references to science have come to be a common occurrence.
