I always tend to over do it in the Summer. From getting too much sun to attending too many parties and events, I just get exhausted, but still want to create art. I have had to scale back on my production just to have time to do some laundry! So I think for this season I want to forget about trying to sell, sell, sell and instead build relationships. I am working on a new, bright, sea themed journal for a custom order. I love the vibrant colors--it so reminds me of snorkling off the coast of the Bahamas as a teenager. The pages are just as clever as the cover. There are plenty of smooth white pages but sprinkled inbetween are dictionary pages from S-Z and an old nautical map. Perfect for  the writer who loves the sea! [more]
