“Constantly grasping and letting go; at an image, at an idea.
The use of memory and insight.
A witness to color pulling at a shape to affirm ground and win in space.
An attempt to feel at one with nature, as an oddball with man.”
I am aiming to capture the fleeting state of serenity I encounter in sudden glimpses. Displaying a particular order of light and form found in our everyday surroundings. As found at the edge of a stucco wall and a distant horizon. As noticed while passing through this place and that. As apparent in scattered pieces, fragmented faces and familiar contradictions. My work is an accumulation of this existential passage.
