Statement

Lex Braes, born in Glasgow, Scotland. Studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art , Dundee, Scotland (1974-1979), Brooklyn Museum Art School (1979-1980), University of California at San Diego under Allan Kaprow in MFA program (1983-1984). Visiting Assistant Professor UG Architecture Pratt Institute since 2004. Represented by Felix Ringel Galerie, Duesseldorf, Germany upcoming exhibition with Michael Langen, Munich, Germany. Lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
