Francesca Sabbagh

Francesca Sabbagh experiments the dissection of her own work by painting the entire image onto different canvases; the finished artwork is not the picture as she painted it but the one that she composes for other eyes to see. She creates concepts and reality is either fractured to be a manipulation of itself or cut or combined with other medias working like a sculpture.

Francesca was born and grew up in Cagliari, Sardinia. She moved to Rome to study Interior Design at IED (European Institute of Design) where she graduated in 2009 and specialized in designing and visualization for Retail Interiors. She currently lives in London where she is a freelance Visual merchandiser and Visual artist.
