Jason Lujan

I actively work to document the transformation of Indian identity within global environments. Using all my senses in order to log every bit of data available to me, I seek connections between my culture(s) and the world at large, and in doing so create or recode associations. For the last year I have been exploring aesthetic combinations of Native American and Asian cultures, with an emphasis on dioramas and scale models. As a Native American, I am interested in transformation and hybridization of Indian identity in contemporary society and global communities
