Using principles of lighting and composition from classic cinematic tableaus , photographer Johnny Scott Gramercy takes hold of the key moment in a pivotal scene within a life movie. Gramercy has "the eye" and is adroit at bringing a concept into fruition as a vividly clear and communicative product.
"The image comes from within. I don't rely on the camera or processing to tell the story. I prefer the images be judged by what I've seen or conceptualized and then captured. Not something added later. At the end of the day it's all about artistic vision."
