Currently I am producing a series of limited editions collections using my invention, the P.TVsynth(TM) or Programable Television Synthesizer(TM). For more on this, please see this introduction and this.
I will be doing a historic limited edition series consisting of four phases, that will be executed using the electromagnetic signal from my greatest invention, the STDTS(TM), which is the first functioning prototype technology for warp drive. Phase 1 will be the 1st Experiments, Phase 2 will be the Warp Drive Journey (done with public domain Hubble Space Telescope images) Phase 3 will be The StarTrek series (done with StarTrek derivative images) and Phase 4 will be private commissions.
After these phases are complete, I will do no more using the STDTS. Next year, I will be doing a worldwide webcast of the proof of concept demonstration for this technology, in conjunction with the release of the next Star Trek movie, which will make the STDTS 4 Phase series the first ever art created with an advanced space propulsion technology, and of course appreciate in value...
When it comes to art, as in most things, I am a visionary. The P.TVsynth(TM) is a case in point. The television is seen historically as a passive tool sitting in the room and we watch it. Unless an interfacing instrument is introduced, such as a video game, we watch and it projects to us whatever it is receiving. The P.TVsynth(TM) is the latest and perhaps most powerful tool to come from the kind of intellectual environment described in , Expanded Cinema. The P.TVsynth(TM) is a television that does special effects that you program it to do in real time. It is a television that serves as an active device, which in turns allows for the reinterpretation of not only external input of images, but also the airwaves, even the left-over background radiation from the Big Bang. The P.TVsynth(TM) allows for the creation of both still and video images that are the synthesis of mind and machine in an ever changing and controllable act of creation.
Beyond that, I create art stills from videos that I have produced during my career, some of which are surreal, psychedelic combinations of live action footage and video animation and special effects. I have done some work with computer graphics as well, but now with the invention of my P.TVsynth(TM), computers are just so passe...
