Statement

Portland, Oregon-based artist Mara Farrington focuses her practice on a mixed media exploration of abstraction. Following schooling at Rhode Island School of Design, Safransky left a career in film to explore the purely creative potential of contemporary art.


Safransky is a member of Gallery 825 and Women Painters West. Her work is held in private collections domestically and abroad, and was most recently on view at the Brenda Taylor Gallery in New York.
