Etienne Zack had his first solo exhibition at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, Canada (with catalogue) in spring 2010. His work has also been shown in solo exhibitions including Bergen Kunsthall, Bergen, Norway; Thomas Dane Gallery, London, England; Marina-Miranda, Madrid, Spain; Artcore Gallery, Toronto, Canada; Equinox Gallery, Vancouver, Canada; Art45, Montréal, Canada; Blackwood Gallery at the University of Toronto, Mississauga, Canada. Zack’s work has also been included in East International 2004 (selectors: Neo Rauch and Harry Gerb Lybke), Norwich, England; Nicole Klagsbrun, New York, United States; Projektraum Viktor Bucher, Vienna, Austria; Vancouver Art Gallery, Vancouver, Canada; National Gallery of Canada and The Quebec Triennial, Montreal, Canada in 2008. Zack was the winner of the RBC Painting Competition in 2005 and the City of Montreal's Pierre-Ayot prize in 2008. Etienne Zack is presently exhibiting in “It Is What It Is”, at the National Gallery of Canada: “Unreal”, at the Vancouver Art Gallery and he is exhibiting his first bronze sculpture at the Torrance Art Museum in California. Zack will also be doing a four month residency and group exhibition at the The Model in Sligo, Ireland, in summer 2011.
Zack’s work is collected in the United States, Europe and extensively throughout Canada. His work is in the collections of public institutions including the National Gallery of Canada, Vancouver Art Gallery, Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, Musée National des beaux-arts du Québec and Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal as well as in numerous private and corporate collections. Zack is represented by Equinox Gallery in Vancouve, Canada.
