Creating a Beyond Visual Experience!
My primary desire is to establish a contemplative dialog beyond the two dimensional picture plane, engendering a fluid discourse between an artwork's latent intent, and the viewers perceptions. Lines, Shapes, and Colors, should be felt as much as seen.
A melding of physical sensitivities and subconscious energies forms the "graphic shorthand" I use to visually expand, coalesce, and refine my enigmatic creative impulses.
My subjects are guided by a mindful "pre-visualization" - a continual distillation of ideas, reactions, perceptions, and influences. This translates the compelling sensations of tension and release into vivid coloration and proportional harmony - ultimately revealing an experiential essence for each new work.
METHODOLOGY
For more than 25 years, RICH MOYERS has been successfully creating engaging artworks with thoughtful, energetic, and emotionally stimulating content. Using his natural affinity for proportional harmony and exceptional color balance, his Contemporary Paintings, have won many awards and are widely recognized for his singularly unique execution of a chromatically rich, dimensionally diverse, artful experience.
Arts Education and Experimental Explorations have combined, allowing Rich to skillfully manipulate the natural properties of Fluid Viscosity. He uses these dynamic “push-pull” effects to enhance dimensional drama and heighten tactile surface qualities.

Most of Rich's paintings require many painstaking hours of carefully applied applications, working layer upon layer in varying combinations, of Oil Paints & Pastels, Acrylic Paints, Metallics, Gouache, Prisma Pencils, Soft Pastels, and Watercolors to accomplish his exceptionally vibrant Mixed Media effects.
