Statement

 

 

 

Born in Yorkshire in 1953 my real name is Ken Ross.  I spent many years as a professional writer publishing 27 books - mainly for children - and articles on a variety of subjects.  During my fifties the justification for creative work seemed to ebb away and I wasted a few years in comparative idleness.

However, the spark was ignited in early 2010 and since over 100 pieces of art have been created.

I am extremely productive in full flow and hope to keep the workload up for many years to come.  Art is a new and refreshing challenge for me but I believe there are so many things I have learned from literature that I enter this new world well armed to meet the climb up the mountain.
