Karen Ay's practice incorporates installation, assemblage, mixed media and text-based elements. Notions surrounding identity, nation-ness, human and cultural geography and sense of place are often themes in her work.
Karen studied at Central Saint Martins where she gained a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art in 2004. She lives and works in London and has exhibited in the UK and internationally. Her work is held in the Clerical Medical Investment Group corporate collection and with private collectors internationally.
