Statement

My current paintings are an effort to connect further with nature. By building textured layers, constantly adapting to the new surface, and causing simultaneous destruction and creation with the material, I'm seeking to mimic natural forces and processes. Through a balance of intention and chance, I feel I'm able to capture organic patterns, structures and energies.
