Gentle and poetic scenes create their melody and Eva Wieczorek reveals their pulsing and power of subtle energy. Reduced and summarized they evoke frames, allowing us to see, from windows, an imaginary world which extends behind the canvas. As wonderful memories, they emanate
with a warm atmosphere, associative immeasurable visual links. Motives lean out from senses relying on smells, sounds or silence creating a complete impression. Harmonious and connected they are created by a series of surfaces, textures and colours which are matched, completed and
folded over each other in perfect rhythm and balance. This interwoven reality and dreams move the borders with the touch of a gentle brush becoming the painter’s motif as it is all subject to colour, an equal quantity of tone which, like the veil, unifies the reality. Very precisely, it follows the drawing,
by calm and gentle surfaces, in harmony and surrealism, penetrated with peacefulness and sadness. The metaphysic atmosphere is tactile and dense. The shadows are imperceptible, present just to indicate three- dimensionality and to lead us into space. The gentle light pervades everything uniformly, without accents and distractions as everything found in the painting
is equally valuable, calming. Faces of recognizable character features, with spirited and open views, observe us from these paintings. People are located within a landscape, in nature which, reduced and tightened, fills the sombre impression. This sensitive, aesthetic artist chooses her motives and landscapes that are full of gentle touches, children, depicting the emotions of pleasure and happiness. Whilst watching the aligned canvases it seems as though we are
watching an album full of memories, separate moments which exist dormant from somewhere inside us. As quiet everyday celebrities the artist’s paintings fill the space with tenderness
and dreams, they do not provide moves, large contrasts or sorrow, they overflow us as high tide enticing us to dive into her ingenuous and intoxicating world, which is at the same time real and recognizable.
