David Camisa

Born in Wales and raised in Canada, David spent the majority of his formative years with his head in a comic book. He attributes that childhood  obsession as the catalyst for his passion for art and the realization that he didn’t want to pursue a career doing anything else. Exposure to a variety of art styles over the years allowed him to find inspiration in everything from animation to art nouveau, drawing on a number of styles and techniques to create work with his own signature look and feel. Now residing in Vancouver, BC, David’s surreal paintings feature dynamic characters whose dramatic tales explore emotion, relationships, and the world around us.
