Statement

Moema Lacerda Furtado is most known for her installations and sculptures. Issues of separation and displacement and issues of duality, the intimate versus global are a constant presence in her art work. She has worked with a variety of man made and organic materials such as latex, bricks, wood, sand, soap, oil and marble.
