Quinton Bemiller is a painter, art professor and curator based in Southern California. He has received artist grants from the City of Los Angeles and the City of Pasadena, California for his work as a painter. He has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions at galleries, museums and universities nationally. His paintings are in over fifty private collections and in the Permanent Collection of the Boston Public Library. Since 2009, he has been represented by Offramp Gallery, where he has presented three solo exhibitions and a mural. Quinton Bemiller is Assistant Professor of Art and Gallery Director at Norco College in the Riverside Community College District. Previously, he taught at Chaffey College, was Director/Curator of the Kellogg Gallery at Cal Poly Pomona University and co-curated exhibitions at Project_210 in Pasadena, California. For over ten years, he has taught private classes and workshops, given lectures, and led art tours in Los Angeles and other major cities including New York, San Francisco and Denver. Quinton Bemiller earned an M.F.A. at Claremont Graduate University, a B.F.A. at the College of Art and Design at Lesley University (formerly The Art Institute of Boston) and an A.A. at Pasadena City College. His ongoing practice as a painter investigates the possibilities of color, representation and abstraction.
