Amanda Kaliski

Amanda is from Illinois and is a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago, with a degree in Art and Design. Amanda's passion for making art began much earlier than college and has played a huge role in her life. Growing up, her art-making was always encouraged; and she was given the freedom to take over the kitchen table with watercolors or use up all of the Scotch Tape to assemble sculptures. As Amanda has always been, she is interested in the process of making art. Today, her process is intimate, meditative, and she believes with each piece she creates, a little part of her is left within it.



When Amanda is not making art or sketch books late at night, she is working; continuing her education; volunteering as an active participant in her community; and surrounding herself with friends and family. She keeps busy, which keeps her focused. Amanda is a dedicated person, always interested in pursuing the next step.
