Chris Mottalini (born August 22, 1978) grew up in Buffalo, New York and has a B.S. in News Editorial from the University of Colorado, Boulder (2000). Mottalini has been living in Brooklyn for the past ten years. His photographs have been internationally exhibited and widely published.
In addition to documenting now-demolished homes designed by Paul Rudolph for the project After You Left, They Took It Apart (Demolished Paul Rudolph Homes), Mottalini’s recent work includes an interpretation of the remains of Leif Eriksson's long lost Viking settlement in Newfoundland, Canada and a photographic record of the assortment of school bus stop shelters in Buffalo, New York.
