Katerina Kyselica (b.1973, Czech Republic) is a visual artist, designer, curator and editor of Celebrating Print Magazine. She received a BFA from VCU School of the Arts, Virginia and Master’s Degree from Charles University in Prague. Her prints and works on paper, represented in private collections, have been exhibited in group shows in New York, Paris, and the Czech Republic, including the Czech Print of the Year. She lives and works in New York.
Through her work, Kyselica seeks understanding of the individual’s own existence. In the social system pre-occupied with rapid technological advancement, she looks inward to explore established roles and expectations, speaking of entrapment and involuntary entanglement. She creates prints, mixed media works and artist books.
