Statement

Lauren Knighton is a writer and artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She has worked with galleries, private dealers, artists, and publishers on a variety of projects, including the School of Visual Arts Art & Religion Panel in 2001, featuring Ghada Amer, Eleanor Heartney, and Robert Longo; the Iraq War Forum in 2003, featuring Dr. Camillo Bica; and the Joel Meyerowitz World Trade Center Archive, which was donated to the Museum of the City of New York in 2003, and published by Phaidon as the monograph "Aftermath" in 2006. Most recently, Knighton served as Photography Director of and a contributing writer to Spread ArtCulture Magazine.
