In my work I attempt to show the surreal and nonsensical nature of the world. For me painting brings out an immediacy and specificity which cannot be arrived at with any other medium. I draw inspiration from everything that is around me. Visual artification or glitch art, figuration and decaying landscapes tell the stories I wish to tell much the same way a dj samples different music bits to create something fresh and exciting.
