MARK RIDDICK started his freelance career in 1991-at the age of 14-when he began illustrating for underground death and black metal bands and magazines. Riddick's work has been featured in underground and newsstand metal publications alike. He has completed illustrations for T-Shirts, record and CD covers, and other merchandise for major label metal bands like Arsis, Autopsy, Cephalic Carnage, Dethklok, Dying Fetus, Enthroned, Hypocrisy, Kataklysm, Misery Index, Suicide Silence, The Black Dahlia Murder, The Faceless, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Tristania and many more. Riddick's fervent appreciation for underground metal music compels him to also illustrate for independent metal bands like Decaying Purity, Digested Flesh, Putrid Mastication, Viral Load, Vomit Remnants, and hundreds of others. Since 2007, Riddick's artwork has been solicited for display at respectable art galleries in New York City, Portland, Santa Ana, Tokyo, and more. Riddick currently resides in the northern Virginia area with his wife, son, and two cats.
