My current work explores the relationship between the image and the object. My starting points are snap shots, which I like to make with an old mobile, and found objects of various categories. I work using a combination of traditional and digital media, including design, photography , sculpture and painting. During the creative process, I play with a chosen item, multiplying and altering it according to what my imagination dictates. The ‘here and now', represented by the captured object , may interweave with memories as the work develops. Shadows appear and disappear , lines are produced and colours are changed , while the chosen item continues as the major character of ‘my play’. Through repetition another ‘scenario’ is created, but does the object retains or loses its innate characteristic?...This is the question I put forward.
