Kris Scheifele is a New York-based artist and writer. She received her MFA from Pratt Institute and her BA/BFA from Cornell University. Scheifele completed a residency at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. She has had solo and two-person exhibitions at PS122 Gallery and Janet Kurnatowski Gallery, and has participated in numerous group shows at venues such as CUE Foundation, Pratt Manhattan Gallery, and 92YTribeca. The artist is a recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant.
