Matthew Mullins is an Associate Editor with ArtSlant.com
He is a painter who currently lives and works in Santa Fe, NM. Most recently, he has been awarded the Visions from the New California Award from the James Irvine Foundation, which came with a residency at the Kala Art Institute. He is an MFA graduate from UC Berkeley, where he was a fellow with the Arts Research Center and was awarded the Eisner Prize in Visual Art. Between 2010 and 2011, Matthew was a lecturer at UC Berkeley, where he taught Introduction to Visual Thinking and Beginning Drawing. His paintings have recently been published in New American Paintings. Matthew Mullins is represented by the Zane Bennett Gallery.
