I became instantly inspired at age 17 by a beautiful Three-Dimensional Asian themed large abstract from an artist unknown, while dining at a fine restaurant back in my hometown of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Since that day, my creations have become quite a passion as a self taught artist. Still at age 17, I created two versions of my own original theme, which sold instantly to a private buyer less than a week after completing and hanging in my home. I took a long hiatus from Art to pursue college, but 22 years later, my inspiration rekindled in beautiful Saint Augustine, touring its many galleries, and discovering many tranquil locations to reflect and balance the mind. I apply this analogy to my works, reflecting techniques and balancing color combinations, which have stayed true to me, using all of the similar materials I did 22 years ago such as various mediums, countless texturing forms and crafting material from liquid, paper, glass, metal, mosaics and more. I infuse color combinations through perception of detail, allowing each layered Dimension, to balance the other, and to become many creations in one.
