MASSIMO ELEONORI

MASSIMO ELEONORI BORN IN MACERATA (ITALY) IN APRIL 1967. After graduating as a surveyor, he soon graduated as a Master of Art from the Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata. He participated in numerous collective exhibitions and in 1991 had his first solo exhibition "Fragments screamed in silence" where, after starting from a surreal dream of unconscious phallic landscape of the years 1989-1990, he was directed towards a new form of painting that is even surrealist basic and abandoned the use of oil paints for a more fast technique as the acrylic and started entering collage of paper, pencils, crayons and especially the vinyl glue (materials that will use always). In his work he includes the human body or landscapes that are almost always arranged in poses of Renaissance...but subtly deformed. Beauty is imperfection. The figures are often closed or square irregular and semicircles..as if they lived in closed pens protection...in his work are often the Marche hills...undulating and silent to protect a disarming reality.
