I was just checking out your abstracts. I like your work... they remind me of looking at clouds or rorsach ink blots- there are so many interesting layers and shapes working together on the canvas that one starts to see images appearing. I'm guessing that a glacier was your intention with "Arctic Melt," that was the impression I had before I looked at the title. "Umbra" is particularly beautiful... after I looked at it for a while I felt as if I was seeing light coming through a stained glass window into a dark room on a cloudy day. (I'd love to know what inspired that piece.) In "Rhapsody," I had the sense of a graceful boy doing ramp acrobatics on a dirt bike (perhaps not what you had in mind, but lovely nonetheless.) Anyway, I love that your abstracts inspire such detailed study- I'm betting that I could look at them in a different mood and walk away with different impressions altogether. Thanks for sharing your work and best of luck to you.
