ART OF HEALING OF

JASNICA 

Jasnica Klara Matić explores the healing of the mind and body through the process of painting, using salt, incense and wax as painting materials. Her artwork contain universal symbols which are believed to be in the foundations of the collective unconscious ( divine beings, male – female unity, cosmic egg, tree of life, dancing steps ).

Jasnica is a member of the Chelsea Art Galleries, New York and the Art Slant, New York

She exhibited at the Croatian National Shrine Mother of God of Marija Bistrica ( Independent exhibition titled " Gabriel or Coming to the Light ", July 2008 ), the Agora Gallery, New York ( Collective exhibition titled " Enigmatic Visions ", February 2008 ), the Agora Gallery, New York ( Collective exhibition titled " A Substance of Abstraction ", June 2009 ), the Primo Piano LivinGallery, Lecce ( Collective exhibition titled " Anima Mundi ", November - December 2009 ), the " Russian Art Week " - 6 - th International Exhibition & Competition of Contemporary Arts, September 2009. in Moscow and October 2009 in St. Petersburg ), the Ukrainian Art Week , Kiev ( November 2009 ) and the Lithuanian Art Week, Vilnius ( January 2010 ).

Born in Bosanski Brod, Bosnia and Herzegovina, her history is at a cultural crossroads. She graduated at the Law Faculty, University in Novi Sad, Serbia and after that finished the Environmental Law Programme at the Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe in Szentendre, Hungary. She founded the EQUILIBRIUM, Environmental Law Association Zagreb, Croatia and became its first president. As international environmental legal expert, she travelled a lot and cooperated with prestigious international legal organizations like the UNESCO, NATO and Regional Environmental Centre,

In parallel with her legal work, Jasnica explores the healing of the mind and body through healing techniques and skills. She is a Theta Healing practitioner from 2008.

From 1988. Jasnica lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia.
