Camilo has a M.A. in Public Policy from Claremont Graduate University and is currently completing his M.F.A. at California State University at Long Beach. In 2007, he was awarded the bronze award in the Digital Conceptualization category byBlack & White Magazine and was first place in the All Media 2007 Juried Exhibition at the Irvine Fine Arts Center. Most recently Camilo was selected as an ArtSeen 3 “2008 Emerging Artist” by the AIDS Research Alliance’s jury, which includes curators and directors from LACMA, The Huntington, MOCA and The Getty Museum.
