Rachel Indergaard creates images, spacial arrangements, books, and projects that consider the production and reproduction of metanarratives. Her work looks at motifs, representations, mythologies, and photographic technologies as opportunities to create themes or moods for viewer experience. Indergaard completed a MFA from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. She is a recipient of the Emerson Woeffler Scholarship, 2014, and full scholarship for social psychology study at Ehime University in Japan, 2012. Her work has been published, exhibited, and collected in Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., U.K., Brazil, Belgium, Italy, and Japan.
