"My work is a combination of eclectic compulsion, inspired activism, devotion to craft and tribute to my predecessors. Living close to nature provides me with an organic sensibility in that I am driven to the lushness of material, sensuous form and the mastery of line. I work in series, usually several at a time; which allows for a syncretic experience."
